North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos match-winner Emma King has been awarded six votes by the coaches in the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year award voting. 

King kicked three goals in the four-point victory, including the match winner, and was dominant in the ruck battle, winning 18 hit-outs. 

Jess Duffin and Emma Kearney both had their strong performances recognised, being awarded five votes each.

Kearney’s five votes see her move to the top of the Kangaroos standings, one ahead of Duffin.
