VFL: Chance to impress

Kyron Hayden will be one of several players looking to push their case for an AFL call-up on Saturday afternoon, having been named as an emergency for the JLT Series game in Adelaide.

The powerfully-built rookie will look to continue his development with another strong showing against Frankston at Highgate Recreation Reserve, after impressing last weekend.

With an average of 12.6 possessions in 14 VFL games last year, the 19-year-old has shown glimpses of his explosive potential.

Another youngster on the cusp of selection is Curtis Taylor, who booted three goals against Sandringham, catching the eye of many, including development coach Gavin Brown.
