There was a noticeable buzz at Arden St on Thursday morning, with plenty of fans and media turning out for the players’ last session before the Kick for the Kids match.

The squad enjoyed some light training, before taking part in an open media session.

The players then took their time to sign autographs for the waiting fans, many of whom will be at Marvel Stadium tomorrow afternoon for one of the Roos’ biggest games of the season.

One of the main events of the morning was the North playing group donating $10,000 to the Good Friday Appeal.

Jamie Macmillan, Trent Dumont and Ed Vickers-Willis presented the cheque on behalf of the AFLPA and North players at the end of the session.

Mattel Hot Wheels also matched the donation, promising to give $10,000 of their products to the Royal Children’s hospital.
