North Melbourne's greatest players of all time are set to be named when the club celebrates its rich history at a special 150 Year Anniversary Dinner.

The prestigious event will celebrate key moments in the club's past, as well as its legends, and everyone who has made it one of the proudest and oldest sporting organisations in Australia. Key milestones will also be commemorated, including 1975, 77, 96 & 99 premierships.

In the lead up to the event on Saturday, August 3 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, a list of North's greatest 150 players will be revealed, with the final Top 10 to be announced live in the room at the 150 Year Anniversary Dinner.

Guests will be treated to a three-course gourmet meal, premium beverages and live entertainment, and will witness the naming of North's greatest player.

The event will be attended by the great names in the clubs history, including past legends, coaches and directors, alongside current players and key club personalities.

For those unable to attend the anniversary dinner, the club will also celebrate its 150th year at the Chairman’s Function presented by Mazda - a premium sit down function on Friday, August 2 when North takes on Hawthorn at Marvel Stadium.

The new football areas at Arden St will be open to members and fans the following day (Saturday), with guided tours, a pop-up museum and player appearances available. That afternoon, footy will be back on the Arden St Oval when the VFL side play the Hawks from 2pm.
