North Melbourne v Box Hill
Saturday, August 3, 2pm
Arden Street

North Melbourne takes on Box Hill at its traditional home on Saturday afternoon. It's the 13th-placed Roos against the eighth-placed Hawks.

Box Hill is fighting for a finals spot, while the home team is playing for pride after a tough year so far.

Talking points

- The ruck duel looms as an intriguing one, with dominant big man Tom Campbell coming up against Marc Pittonet and Jonathon Ceglar. The Hawks' pair has plenty of talent, so it won't be an easy task for the in-form Roo.

- Sam Wright is set to play his final game in the royal blue and white. There's sure to be a big crowd at Arden Street to farewell the skilful defender.

- Having been omitted from the AFL team, Jed Anderson will no doubt come out with a point to prove. His ferocious approach will set the standard for the Roos' emerging youngsters.

Key players

The retiree will be a key player in the Roos' defensive half, and will no doubt be looking to finish his career on a high.

His run and carry and experience is sure to be vital to North's chances.

Box Hill Hawks

The Hawks' veteran has been a proven performer for many years, and the North defence will have its hands full shutting him out of the game.
