Dom Tyson will be hoping for an injury-free run in 2020, after a season to forget that ended with shoulder surgery on Monday.

The 26-year-old returned from a series of calf issues in the VFL, but lasted only minutes when he dislocated his left shoulder.

The midfielder underwent a Laterjet stabilisation; a procedure that involves attaching a piece of bone to the front of the shoulder socket to draw a sling of tissue anteriorly, which acts as a barrier to prevent future dislocations.

Tom Campbell will have his right shoulder instability repaired arthroscopically, while Jed Anderson requires a right shoulder arthroscopy and removal of a pin from his collar bone.

After a discovering an irregular heartbeat and experiencing palpitations trough the season, Nick Larkey will have a Catheter ablation procedure which involves removing the faulty electrical pathway around the heart.
