Key Gold Coast Suns Touk Miller and Jarrod Harbrow are "good chances" to play North Melbourne on Saturday.

The Suns have had a tough run with injuries in recent weeks, with Jack Bowes (quad) joining Ben Ainsworth (foot), Sam Collins (hip) and Pearce Hanley (quad) on the injury list.

Harbrow missed Saturday's loss to the Giants with a groin complaint, while Miller has missed three matches with a heel problem.

"Both are a really good chance this week," coach Stuart Dew said.

"Tick a few boxes in the next three days and that'll give them every chance."

Harbrow will take part in Wednesday afternoon's main session, while Miller will be rested and will have to pass a fitness test later in the week.

The opposing coaches are quite familiar, adding another dimension to what is shaping up to be an important game.

Dew was an assistant coach at Sydney for the final five years of Rhyce Shaw's career and was glowing in his praise of the former Swan.

"He's a humble man, a great communicator and been around footy a long time," Dew said.

"I've worked with him a lot and think he's a great coach.

"They've got a beauty in Rhyce, that's for sure."
