A trio of North AFLW players is rated among the ‘elite’ bracket of the competition, according to Champion Data’s latest rankings.

The AFLW Prospectus has 23 players across the league in the top category, with North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos' stars Emma Kearney, Jas Garner and Jess Duffin among them.

Kearney and Garner will lead the team into 2020, as captain and vice-captain, while Duffin is set to sit out the year as she awaits the arrival of a baby girl.

As the Roos’ midfield warrior, Kearney averaged 20 disposals a game in 2019, finishing second in the club’s best and fairest behind Jenna Bruton.

Garner was recently rated the league’s best forward by her peers, polling over 50 per cent of the vote.
