Four North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos' stars have been named in the AFLW All-Australian squad of 40.

Skipper Emma Kearney, vice-captain Jas Garner, 2019 Best and Fairest winner Jenna Bruton, and emerging midfielder Ash Riddell are in the mix for the final 21.

Garner capped off an outstanding year by winning the AFL Coaches' Player of the Year Award last month; she's tipped to be one of the favourites for the overall AFLW Best and Fairest.

Kearney, Bruton and Riddell all had outstanding seasons, among arguably the best on-ball brigades in the competition.

The final teams – as well as a captain and vice-captain – will be announced at the W Awards, with details yet to be confirmed amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
