Whether you're an avid historian, or simply love the club, the 1977 Grand Finals are remembered as two of the most famous games in North Melbourne's history.

From the famous draw on September 24, to the replay the following week, the back-to-back battles against Collingwood are replayed time and time again.

Now, thanks to ABC's Vintage Grandstand, all the stars and key members of the two teams reunite for a fascinating chat.

North stars Ken Montgomery and Wayne Schimmelbusch, and Collingwood's Peter Moore and Billy Picken shared their stories of a classic draw.
