After a strong display against the Bulldogs on Sunday, will North look to make changes for its clash against the West Coast Eagles in a rare Monday timeslot in Perth?

The Roos finished well on top in a much-improved effort against Luke Beveridge’s men, and will take plenty of confidence going on the road to take on the Eagles.

North Media looks at those in the mix for a call-up.

After debuting as the medi-sub, Eddie Ford will be in contention to come in the 22.

Jed Anderson is one of the first picked when fully fit, but might need another week at VFL level after playing on restricted minutes.

Jared Polec has been finding possessions at will over the past fortnight, racking up another 32 on the weekend, and could add some extra class through the midfield.

Likewise Charlie Lazzaro, who has already had a good taste of senior footy in 2021. The 19-year-old had a season-high 29 disposals in the VFL, and looms as a potential inclusion.

Atu Bosenavulagi has been around the mark in recent weeks and continues his solid form in the back half, with fellow defender Lachie Young also among the Roos’ best, on his way to 18 touches and 7 marks against Footscray.

First-year rookie Patrick Walker is putting his hand up for selection, and was mentioned by coach David Noble as one of North’s VFL standouts on the weekend. He’s been performing well on a wing, with 20 possessions in his last outing.

Big man Tom Campbell continues to dominate in the ruck, with another 25 disposals and 48 hitouts to keep himself in the frame.

Kyron Hayden was a late withdrawal from the AFL side on Sunday, but has returned to training this week and will no doubt be in the mix again.

North will take a conservative approach with first-year player Tom Powell, likely to return late in the year.
