A 10,000 strong crowd will flock to Blundstone Arena on Saturday for North Melbourne’s Round 20 clash with Geelong.

Although a reduced capacity due to Covid, North CEO, Ben Amarfio, said it was an incredible show of support from the Tasmanian locals.

We can’t thank the Tasmanian community enough for coming out in force to support us this weekend. We have almost 6,000 members down here and it’s great that they are showing up in force to watch us,” Amarfio said.

“We have shown some incredibly exciting improvement since the bye and especially over the last few weeks so we are looking forward to taking on a premiership contender, particularly in our second home, Hobart - a place where Geelong has never played before.”

Amarfio extended his thanks to the State Government and key club partner, Spirit of Tasmania, for making the game happen.

“The support from the State Government, in particular the Acting Assistant Commissioner, the Tasmanian Public Health team, and our wonderful partner, Spirit of Tasmania, has been tremendous,” Amarfio said.

“Due to restrictions, crowd capacities have been reduced and there are no standing room tickets but we can’t wait to have the grandstands full with people cheering us on.”

Patrons are reminded that masks are mandatory for the event, including when queuing to enter.

The first bounce is at 1.15pm on Saturday, July 31.

Please note: No tickets will be available to purchase at the gate. All juniors must have a valid ticket to enter. Reserved seat members can scan in with their mobile membership card.
