North Melbourne has locked in its playing squad for its first VFLW campaign under new coach, Brett Gourley.

Reigning club best and fairest winner Audrey Rhodes will again pull on the blue and white stripes in 2024, as will fellow podium finisher Annabel Scott and 2023 captain Jess Jones.

Spearhead Emily Paterno and 2023 best clubwoman Brooke Slaney join the trio and are among 22 players retained by the club following last season.

Nyakoat Dojiok and Matilda Zander headline a host of VFLW Magpies with Grand Final experience who have made the transfer to Arden Street.

Zander claimed Collingwood's VFLW 2022 best and fairest award, while Dojiok is fresh off a selection at half-forward in the competition's 2023 Team of the Year.

Renee Tierney and Alana Barba have become Roos following stints with Essendon's AFLW side over the past two seasons. The duo contributed to the Bombers' VFLW Grand Final triumph in 2022.

Young gun Maddie Di Cosmo has come over from Carlton's VFLW squad after being included alongside Dojiok in the VFLW Team of the Year, and taking home the Blues' best and fairest award.

Medium forward and former Brisbane AFLW player Brooke Sheridan has made the move south, while Amanda Ling, who has spent time as a Bulldog in both the AFLW and VFLW is another solid recruit.

The club's VFLW program will also continue to support players from its Academy Regions.

Mature-aged Tasmanians Mackie Sutcliffe, Jen Guy, and Georgia Nicholas will look to build on their 2023 campaigns, while Abbie Hoiberg-Cox is a new addition from the Apple Isle.

Out of the Wyndham region, Mary Daw - younger sister of former Roo, Majak – has joined the Kangas and will wear the no.38, the number her brother wore for five seasons as a North Melbourne player.

The Roos will again be aligned with Coates League clubs Tasmania Devils and Western Jets and will have talented youngsters from those two clubs featuring in the side throughout the VFLW season, in addition to the squad below.
