North Melbourne VFL skipper Jack Watkins' three goals and 23 disposals has seen him awarded with eight coaches' votes following the Roos' three-point loss to Sandringham.

Watkins led from the front and played a significant role in midfield, also finishing with six clearances and seven tackles in addition to his impact on the scoreboard.

In his first game for the reserves this season, Charlie Lazzaro polled four votes having tallied 28 disposals, seven clearances, seven tackles, and a goal.  

Tackling machine Hugh Greenwood (18 tackles, 16 disposals, one goal) was the third Roo to garner votes, picking up three from North Melbourne coach Tom Lynch and Sandringham coach Jake Batchelor.

Versatile Zebra Cooper Sharman earned the most votes, receiving nine for his performance at Trevor Barker Beach Oval.
