Nyakoat Dojiok starred with a stunning seven-goal haul as North Melbourne Werribee steamrolled Geelong by 88 points at Avalon Airport Oval on Saturday afternoon, reclaiming top spot on the VFLW ladder.
As they have been all season, the Roos were incredibly clean and damaging with their disposal and were defensively sound on their way to the 17.8 (110) to 3.4 (22) victory.
KANGAROOS v CATS Full match coverage and stats
North Melbourne had nine different goalkickers with Sarah Ingram and Charlotte Blair the next best after Dojiok with two each. Blair was a standout for the home side, also racking up 22 possessions (14 contested).
The Cats gained some momentum in the third term by kicking two consecutive goals, but it didn't concern the Kangas who booted the next three to round out their dominant display.
Midfielder Alana Barba was at her ball-winning best, finishing with a game-high 26 disposals, seven tackles and six clearances.
Zoe Savarirayan and Jemmika Douglas combined for 16 intercept possessions as they patrolled half-back, while Zara Flanigan brought the pressure around the ball, tallying eight tackles.
No stopping Nyakoat
Dojiok was switched on from the first bounce at Avalon Airport Oval, kicking three goals in the first term. If she wasn't beating her opponents out the back with pace in her typical fashion, then she was contested clunking grabs.
It looked as though her fifth major would be her best when she triumphed in a one-on-three contest close to goal, but her sixth was a pearler as she jetted off on a three-bounce run the put the Roos up by 75 points in the third term.
First-quarter blitz
It was a stark difference between the two clubs in the opening 20 minutes, as North Melbourne Werribee immediately put the Cats to the sword.
The Roos raced out to a 6.4 (40) to 0.0 (0) advantage at quarter-time, holding Geelong to just a singular inside 50 and five marks.
The ton
In her second game as a Roo, Mia-Rae Clifford was the one who ticked North Melbourne Werribee's score over into triple figures.
The former Bomber and Bulldog claimed her second contested mark inside forward 50 and converted well.
Next up
The ladder-leading Roos return to Arden Street Oval next week for a bout with Darebin on Saturday, June 21. The first bounce is scheduled for 12.05pm AEST.
