George Wardlaw is among seven inclusions for North Melbourne's VFL side as they travel to face Sydney at Tramway Oval on Saturday.
Wardlaw will play his second reserves game for the season as he returns from a concussion suffered in Round 16's AFL match against Hawthorn.
Finnbar Maley, Bailey Scott and Robert Hansen jnr return to bolster the VFL team after being omitted from this weekend's AFL side.
Young forward Zane Duursma and speedster Zac Fisher also come into the team, having served as emergencies for the AFL team last week, alongside Tasmanian Oscar van Dam.
Having enjoyed a bye last weekend, the 11th-placed Kangaroos will be determined to get back on the winners' list against the Swans and keep their finals chances alive.
Callum Coleman-Jones and Brynn Teakle come out of the team after being called up for AFL duty this week, along with Zac Banch, who on Thursday was confirmed as the Kangaroos' newest AFL debutant.
Eddie Ford and Jackson Archer and Ben Huggard are sidelined due to injury, while Olli Hotton has been omitted.
