North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos defender Eilish Sheerin is pushing to return to the line-up for the club's qualifying final against Hawthorn on Friday at Ikon Park.
The 33-year-old hasn't featured in the side since injuring her hamstring in the warm-up prior to the team's Round 8 clash with Sydney.
"Eilish continues to progress as expected through her hamstring rehabilitation," North Melbourne senior AFLW physiotherapist Billy Williams said.
"She's ticked off a number of good sessions and we'll make a call on her availability later this week.
"She trained really strongly with the team today (Tuesday) and is moving quickly and smoothly."
Midfielder Mia King is closing in on a return from a PCL injury, but remains a couple of weeks away.
"Mia had a good few running sessions last week and has started change-of-direction agility drills and football skills with the rehab team," Williams said.

Vikki Wall was rested against Hawthorn and has shaken off the ankle injury she sustained down in Hobart against St Kilda to be available for selection this week.
"Vikki was managed last week given the five-day break and restricted time to get her training in, but she's recovered well following an ankle sprain against St Kilda," Williams.
"She trained fully over the weekend, will complete a normal week at training this week and be available for our first final."
