Ryan Crowley is again set to push the envelope against North players with his unsportsmanlike actions, when the sides meet in Round 6 in Perth.

The controversial tagger was fined for pinching veteran Brent Harvey in Round 13 last year and says he won't hold back next time they face-off.

"I'd be lying if I didn't say that I haven't looked at when we're playing them," Crowley said.

"I'd like another chance at him and I wasn't disappointed when he said he was going around again."

The 30-year-old defender claims what happened on the field with Harvey, should have stayed on the field.

"It was unfortunate that came out," Crowley said.

"I've got my thoughts on how it got played out and I've got to move on, but I am looking forward to playing them again, that's for sure."

He also admitted to sledging his opponents.

"Some guys you do, some you don't," he said. "I feel that some guys lift if you do it to them.

"A guy like Luke Hodge, if you do get into him he is the type of guy that will lift and try and fight back with his play.

"Some guys you can get into their head, so it's a bit of horses for courses type of stuff.

"I know Gary (Ablett) joked last year that I just had a sort of a chat with him.

"Different guys you might try and get into their head. I think the boys will probably say that I am one of the better guys on the lip. I do like to chat a bit on the ground."
