Declan Mountford has been advised he will not be offered a contract in 2019.

The West Australian failed to break into the senior side this season after undergoing surgery to repair a ruptured AC joint.

North GM football Cameron Joyce wished Mountford the very best.

“Declan had an unlucky start to the season with injury and unfortunately he couldn’t add to his 12 game tally,” Joyce said.

“Despite some good form late in the year in the VFL, we had to make a very tough decision.

“The club wishes him the very best for his future endeavours.”

Mountford debuted in Round 1, 2017 after he was drafted to the club with pick 60 in 2015.
