If Liam Anthony was hoping his return to the North side would make a splash, he picked the wrong week.  The hard running midfielder’s inclusion into the final 22 announced on Friday afternoon, will be overshadowed by the debut of Majak Daw, but shouldn’t be underestimated.

A proven ball winner, Anthony has averaged 16.5 disposals in two games so far this season, but in one of those (Round 1), he was the substitute.  Throughout his overall career, he averages 23 touches and can impact the scoreboard.

Anthony and Daw are the only ins for the Roos with Robbie Tarrant (leg) and Kieran Harper (omitted) making way for them.

Levi Greenwood, Will Sierakowski and Brad McKenzie have been named as emergencies for the Sunday twilight encounter with the Lions at Etihad.
