Daniel Wells will face a week on the sidelines, even with an early plea after being charged for two separate incidents against the Bulldogs.

The midfielder was cited for striking during the third quarter and rough conduct during the fourth quarter, both against Shaun Higgins.

The respective charges (one game for striking/two games for rough conduct) add up to a three-match sanction, but an existing six-year good record means he could accept a one-match sanction and 96.87 points toward his future record with an early plea.
