Melbourne's Colin Garland could miss Saturday night's clash against the Kangaroos due to a knee injury.

“Garlo was subbed out in the game [against the West Coast Eagles in round 22] with some knee problems,” Demons' Elite Performance Manager Dave Misson told the club's website.

“The scans showed no structural damage, but there was some bone bruising on the knee, so he’ll be assessed over the next couple of days, as to whether it’s worth him playing that last game.

“If not, he’s another one who’s finished for the season.”

Small-forward Jay Kennedy-Harris (ankle) and utility Luke Tapscott (back) are unlikely to be considered for selection, with the pair sustaining injuries in the VFL.

The Demons will also play it safe with emerging youngster Jesse Hogan, who has been ruled out of the final round due to soreness.
