North Melbourne is pleased to announce it has signed Jarrad Waite as an unrestricted free agent.

“Jarrad stood out to us this year as a player we wanted to have at North, and we’re thrilled he has decided to commit to the club,” Director of Football Geoff Walsh said.

“With 12 years at the top level his experience will be welcomed by our emerging group, and his talent as a player is unquestionable.”

Waite has signed a two-year deal.

The 31-year-old was recruited as a father-son selection by Carlton in the 2001 National Draft. He is the son of two-time Carlton premiership player Vin.

Waite debuted in Round 1, 2003 against Sydney and has gone on to play 184 games, kicking 252 goals.
