Jamie Macmillan’s hamstring injury is not as severe as initially feared, North Director of Football Geoff Walsh says.

Macmillan, who limped off late in North’s win over the Bombers, is expected to miss three to four weeks as he recovers from the injury.

“On the night it didn’t look great for Jamie as he came to the bench, but after assessing the injury it looks like it will be only about three or four weeks on the sidelines and we hope to have him back within that timeframe," Walsh told NMFC.com.au.

“It’s certainly disappointing for Jamie as he’s been in some great form the last month or so."

Meanwhile, Aaron Mullett and Lachie Hansen will be assessed throughout the week before a decision is made on whether the duo will be available for selection in Saturday’s clash with Brisbane .

Hansen has missed the past two matches, while Mullett was substituted at half time of the Roos’ Friday night win with hamstring soreness.
