North’s attack has received a huge boost with the re-signing of two of its most talented goal-kickers.

Mason Wood has committed to North Melbourne until at least the end of the 2020 season after putting pen to paper on a new four-year deal, while Lindsay Thomas has signed on for another two-years taking him through to the end of 2018.

Wood exploded onto the scene this year with some standout performances for the Roos and was a target of several rival clubs.

“We began talks several weeks ago and Mason was always keen to stay at Arden Street,” North GM of List Management Cameron Joyce told NMFC.com.au.

“He has a very bright future at North.”

Thomas has been in a rich vein of form in recent weeks kicking eight goals, five in his last two outings.

“We all know what Linds is capable of,” Joyce commented.

“He can turn a game in a matter of minutes and the growth he’s had as a player and person is phenomenal.

“We’re delighted to have these two outstanding young men at the club.”
