North Managing Director and CEO Carl Dilena said there was plenty of excitement in the air as the game drew closer.

“Everyone at North has circled February 26 in their calendar and we can’t wait for this big day to come around,” Dilena said.

“It’s an exciting prospect to be playing on a ground with so much history.

“We’re working closely with the AFL to prepare for this match and looking forward to making it a day to remember for those who were able to secure a ticket.”

North fans and members should note, there will be no tickets available to purchase on the day and members will be unable to scan their membership cards for access. Only those who secured tickets during the on sale window will be able to enter, however the clash against Hawthorn will be broadcast live on Fox Footy.

Anyone with tickets to attend the match should plan to arrive by public transport, with a free shuttle from North Melbourne station available. Parking will be extremely limited on the day around the ground as well as in nearby streets.

Fans attending should also note there will be no seating available at Arden St.

All spectators are encouraged to stay after the JLT Community Series game is complete, with a women’s exhibition match to take place after the clash.
