North Melbourne has today confirmed further changes to its playing list following the conclusion of the Trade Period, informing Cooper Harvey, Zac Fisher and Luke Urquhart that they will not be offered contracts for the 2027 season.
A father-son selection from the Northern Knights, Harvey joined Arden Street with pick No.56 in the 2022 AFL Draft, making his debut in Round 17, 2023.
Harvey would go on to play 17 games across his four seasons at the club.
Fisher was traded to the Kangaroos from Carlton ahead of the 2024 season, playing 26 games across three seasons, including one senior appearance this year.
With a year remaining on his contract, the decision allows the club to open up a list spot ahead of the upcoming draft and recruitment period.
Urquhart was taken with pick No.57 in the 2024 National Draft out of the East Fremantle Football Club in the WAFL. A knee injury saw Urquhart miss a large part of the 2026 season and he ultimately didn’t feature at AFL level for the Kangaroos.
General manager of football Todd Viney thanked the trio for their time at Arden Street.
“We thank Cooper, Zac and Luke for their commitment and efforts during their time here at North Melbourne,” Viney said.
“We wish them all the very best of luck in their future endeavours.”
