In 2019, Moana Hope is all smiles, and it’s not just because the North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos are sitting a game clear at the top of conference A.

The 31-year-old has been brimming with confidence since she made the move to Arden Street in 2018, which has been a big catalyst for her upturn in form.

“I’m loving footy, it’s the happiest I’ve ever been,” Hope told Fox Footy following Sunday’s win over Melbourne.

“North’s been amazing in welcoming me with open arms and just loving me, and I’ve been giving them back that love.

“I pull on this jumper with pride because this club is absolutely amazing.

“We don’t just play for ourselves, but we also play for our club and our supporters.”

Hope was a stand-out performer for the Roos on the weekend, kicking two majors and collecting ten disposals, eight of which were kicks.

Her Round 4 outing is the latest performance in what has been an impressive season for the former Magpie.

A pair of goals was a season-high for Hope, as was the ten touches and three marks.
