For two North Melbourne mad families, this year’s Good Friday Appeal game will be one to cherish forever.

On a day that is all about the kids, parents shed tears of joy as their resilient children enjoyed a very special occasion.

For five-year-old Jakob it was running out with the team through the banner, and for three-year-old Mihalis it was meeting his hero Ben Brown in the players' change-room.

Thanks to Hello Solar, the two families from the Royal Melbourne Children’s Hospital got the best seats in the house, after North's loyal partner kindly donated a fully-catered corporate suite for the day.

“He was very privileged to be chosen for this day and it was an experience our family will never forget,” Kelly Downie, mother of Jakob said.

“A special thank you to the club and also a massive thank you to Hello Solar who put myself, Jim, Nanna and Grandpa in their corporate box for the day.”

Hello Solar CEO David Yousefian said the day was an all-round success.

“It was great to see two very deserving families enjoy watching the team they love,” he said.

“The Good Friday clash really is all about the kids and we were happy to be able to help bring smiles to faces on the day.”

Hello Solar took part in the quarter time Kick for the Kids activation, which raised $6500 for the Good Friday Appeal after North legend Brent Harvey kicked 65 metres. Each metre kicked resulted in a $100 donation to the Appeal.
