North Melbourne fans can get their hands on the club’s newest incarnation of its theme song all while doing their bit to help the club’s not-for-profit arm, The Huddle.

Tim Rogers has re-recorded two versions of North’s iconic theme song, and they are now available to purchase and stream online via Apple Music, iTunes and Spotify.

Plus, thanks to the generosity of Tim Rogers, all proceeds from the sale of the song will go directly back to The Huddle, a not-for-profit arm of the Roos aimed at improving social cohesion, particularly amongst young people, including new arrivals to Australia.

North fans will recognise one of the re-recorded songs, with the game day version available to listen to over and over again.

Rogers was thrilled fans would be able to get their hands on the songs.

The You-Am-I front man said the re-recording of the song was something he thoroughly enjoyed.

“We felt no need to ‘update’ our favourite song, but the club asked if a bunch of Shinboners could give it a stab just for kicks,” Rogers said.

“So we stuck the boot into it. Made with nothing but love from 50 out with the wind at our back.”

The original club song was based on the Scottish ditty A Wee Deoch and Doris and recorded by the Fable Record Label singers in 1972.
