After two weeks of hard work, North's travelling group in Utah underwent their final challenge on Saturday (Utah time).

Liberty Park, the scene of last week's icy waters proved a little more forgiving this time around, as the players set off on three seperate runs.

Paired with those with similar running capacity, the Roos' youngsters set a cracking pace over three sets (2 kilometre, 1 kilometre, 1 kilometre), with Mason Wood and Jamie Macmillan leading from the front.

Trent Dumont continued his improvement with a strong finish, before the players took to the track again with a series of sprints.

A fortnight of hikes, conditioning, skills and perhaps most importantly, team bonding, is complete.

But it doesn't end there. The three-week training block before Christmas is now vital in maintaining the gains made at high-altitude.
