NMFC v Carlton Digibattle: Click here for more information

Heading into arguably North Melbourne's biggest fixture of the year, strong VFL performances from a number of players have them right in the mix for a call-up.

Coming off back-to-back six day breaks, senior coach Brad Scott could see a need to freshen up his side, meaning those in form for North Ballarat and Werribee may get their chance.

kangaroos.com.au takes a look at the players in the mix for Round 16.

Have your say in the comments below.

Cam Delaney
Named among the best for the Roosters on Sunday, Delaney had an excellent first half and played a big part in keeping his team in the game. With Carlton's forward line consisting of an array of mobile forwards, the agile Delaney should acquit himself well if selected.

Aaron Edwards
In scrappy conditions, Edwards struggled to have an influence in his last outing. However as a proven performer at AFL level he can be recalled at any time and play his role.

Cruize Garlett
Garlett had a quiet game by his standards for the Roosters, yet still collected 17 possessions. In his only career game against Carlton in 2010, he collected 17 disposals in a North Melbourne win.

Ben Cunnington
A 34 possession, four goal haul last time he took to the field saw Cunnington close to a return before his suspension by the VFL Tribunal. Fit and raring to go, he’s sure to come into consideration.

Levi Greenwood

Carlton has a plethora of quality midfielders at its disposal and if Scott and the match committee opt for a specialist tagger, Greenwood could be the man to turn to.

With the Blues’ work in the contest a highlight in their win over Collingwood, he could also be an option as a strong body in and around the packs.

Ayden Kennedy
Kennedy has been playing some great football at VFL level, but is yet to push up for a senior spot. In his third season at the club, an opportunity is sure to present if his good form continues.

Ben McKinley
A bag of five goals was enough for McKinley to help Werribee into the Foxtel Cup Final. He hasn’t played since Round 15 last year, but his consistency at VFL level demands respect.

Aaron Mullett
Mullett had one of his better games of the year with 21 disposals on the weekend. Able to provide run off half-back, he hasn't played a senior game since making an appearance as the substitute in Round 6, but his recent form suggests a return is imminent.

Cam Pedersen
Todd Goldstein suffered a heavy hit against West Coast, and while he’s recovered well, the match committee could look to reduce his workload if he’s not 100 per cent.

If that's the case, Pedersen would be the perfect foil. Another 22 disposals and 14 hit-outs for the Tigers indicates his versatility.

Cam Richardson
Impressive for North Ballarat with 25 possessions and 5 inside 50's, Richardson was named in the bests for his effort. Having not played since late last year, the 24-year old has a string of strong performances under his belt.

Will Sierakowski
Named as an emergency several times this season, Sierakowski made the trip to Hobart but missed out on the final 22. His debut in the royal blue and white looks to be edging closer.

Ben Speight
Speight has found his touch over the last few weeks playing in the forward line and further up the ground. Against Morningside he had 2 goals and 12 possessions, and his ability to play in attack and as another midfield rotation could prove handy against the Blues.

Scott Thompson
Thompson’s own wishes to play were put on hold last week at the advice of club doctors, but assuming he’s ruled fully fit the defender would have to come under strong consideration.

Ben Warren
Warren collected 18 disposals and 5 marks in Werribee's win on Saturday. In recent weeks he’s shown his ability to play in a wider variety of positions, from the wing to deep in attack.

Meanwhile, Brad McKenzie had 15 disposals and 5 tackles, while Aaron Black had 10 possessions and 4 tackles for the Roosters.

Rookie Majak Daw had a well-balanced game with 3 goals, 16 hit-outs and 13 disposals. Malcolm Lynch finished with 14 possessions and a goal.
