Coming off a disappointing loss to Fremantle, there could be some changes.  Jack Ziebell returns from suspension, Ben Cunnington's availability is still undecided and Scott McMahon could slot back in if he's deemed fit after an ankle injury.

As well as those three best 22 players, there are a host of other Kangaroos in strong form in the VFL, giving Brad Scott and the match committee plenty of options.

Majak Daw

After playing no football for a fortnight, Daw was solid without being spectacular against Box Hill.  However with North's scoring output diminished in recent weeks and Robbie Tarrant still on the comeback from a leg injury, he could be considered to come back into the side as the third tall/second ruck option.

Last week: 13 disposals, 21 hit-outs, 1.1 v Box Hill

Cam Delaney

Delaney had what Josh Drummond called 'his best game of the year' against Bendigo, collecting a lot of the ball in a higher defensive role than normal.

Against a Giants side that has a variety of forward options, Delaney's versatility could be useful.

Last week: 26 disposals, 8 marks v Bendigo

Luke Delaney

The older Delaney continues to maintain his impressive form, with Nathan Grima, Scott Thompson and Lachlan Hansen keeping him from his first senior game of the season.

Last week: 13 disposals, 4 marks v Bendigo

Taylor Garner

Since returning from an ankle injury, Garner has been one of North Ballarat's best players. He continued his good form against Bendigo, setting up teammates for goals rather than kicking them himself.

Garner had three goal assists in the first quarter and backed up his attacking work with excellent tackling pressure.

Last week: 18 disposals, 6 marks, 4 tackles v Bendigo

Jordie Gysberts

Gysberts has become a regular feature on 'In The Mix' in recent weeks as he grows more comfortable in his role at Werribee.

Against Box Hill he had the most disposals of any Tiger despite the 43-point loss. He has been an emergency in recent weeks for the senior side and would most likely come into consideration again.

Last week: 23 disposals, 9 tackles v Box Hill

Ben Jacobs

With the late withdrawal of Cunnington, Jacobs was the non-playing emergency against Fremantle.

If Cunnington is unable to play again this week, Jacobs could be a good inclusion to play a similar inside midfield role against the younger Giants' midfielders.

Last week: Game-day emergency

Ayden Kennedy

While Box Hill kicked 17 goals against Werribee, Kennedy came in for praise from development coach John Lamont, who noted his solid defensive effort and impressive spoils.

A debut against the Giants would be apt after a knee injury against the same opponent in a pre-season game set back Kennedy's development immeasurably.

Last week: 11 disposals, 4 marks v Box Hill

Robbie Tarrant

Tarrant came on at quarter time of Werribee's clash with Box Hill and immediately impressed. After a lengthy layoff he showed no rust in kicking three goals to lead the Tigers.

However match fitness may be an issue and Tarrant could have to play a full game in the VFL before pressing his claims for a senior recall.

Last week: 12 disposals, 4 marks, 3.0 v Box Hill
