The boys are back at Arden Street and North’s journey to round one has begun.

With the Kangaroos’ opening match against Adelaide just three months away, the players returned to training on Monday for a tiring skills and running session.

All but Brent Harvey, Andrew Swallow and Leigh Adams returned after a two week Christmas and New Year’s break.

Drew Petrie enjoyed his first run with the main group as his recovery from ankle surgery gains momentum while Taylor Garner ramped up his rehabilitation programs after hamstring and hip troubles.

Those in full training participated in several match simulation drills that were dominated by the likes of Shaun Higgins, Sam Wright and Ben Cunnington.

206 centimetre Rookie Braydon Preuss also impressed as he works to develop his game with the likes of Todd Goldstein and Daniel Currie leading the way.

The Roos will complete a solid training block before splitting off for community camps in Tasmania and Wyndham on February 19.

On March 1st the NAB Cup begins with the team having its first hit-out in Port Lincoln against the Crows.
