Jack Ziebell is already considered one of the league's finest young leaders, and it seems he's caught the eye of coaches around the league.

The 22-year-old registered two votes in an AFLCA survey as a player 'considered a great senior coach in the future'.

It's impressive recognition for the North midfielder, made even greater by the fact the other players voted were Brad Sewell, Steve Johnson, Daniel Giansiracusa, Luke Ball and Lenny Hayes.

The five players above boast 1092 games between them - Ziebell has played just 72.

In his fifth year at Aegis Park, Ziebell clearly has a bright future, but Brad Scott and the North coaching staff will be hoping his coaching call is a little while away yet.

The votes

Lenny Hayes - St Kilda - 3
Luke Ball - Collingwood - 2
Daniel Giansiracusa - Western Bulldogs - 2
Steve Johnson - Geelong - 2
Brad Sewell - Hawthorn - 2
Jack Ziebell - North Melbourne - 2
