Lindsay Thomas and Ben Cunnington have re-signed with the club until the end of 2016 and 2017, respectively.

North’s leading goal-kicker in 2013, Thomas finished the season with a career-high 53 goals from 20 games. The small forward came seventh in the Coleman Medal and was named in the All-Australian squad of 40. The 25-year old will head to Ireland to represent the AFL’s Indigenous Side in the International Rules.

Missing only two games this year for personal reasons, 22-year-old Cunnington has become a crucial part of North’s midfield. He finished the season with 143 clearances and was ranked fourth in the AFL.  A career-high 34 disposals against Melbourne in Round 18 earned him three Brownlow Medal votes for the first time in his career.
