As North Melbourne edges closer to a deal extending its presence in Hobart for the next two years, the Tasmanian public has thrown its support behind the club with the Roos' clash with Adelaide this Saturday a sell out.

The AFL announced on Tuesday that all public tickets for this Saturday's game at Blundstone Arena had been sold.

The first of North's two Hobart games this year, against St Kilda in round 17, sold out a month in advance.

The Roos' clash with the Crows will be the last in a three-year deal that has seen it play two games a season at Blundstone Arena.

Negotiations are continuing for North to enter a new two-year deal that would most likely extend its presence in Hobart to three games a year.

It had been hoped that deal would be finalised before this Saturday's game, but one of the Kangaroos’ Tasmanian partners, the Hobart City Council, is yet to decide on whether it will continue its sponsorship of the club's Hobart games.

The Council will meet next Monday (August 25) to consider a report on the impact North's existing deal has had on the local economy.

There is a variety of activities for fans at the next game, as well as a free bus services running to and from the ground. The Metro free ‘boundary rider’ bus will run between 11am-2pm and 4pm-6pm.

Junior Roo fans will want to get there early so they can enjoy the Kanga’s Kids’ Zone in the Northern gate forecourt which includes a jumping castle, handball target, player appearances, Kanga mascot, and giveaways.

The RACT Fan Zone, also at the Northern gate, will have more fun in store for fans with face painting, competitions and a signing session.

Make sure you stick around after the final siren to enjoy kick-to-kick on the pristine playing surface with your family and friends.

Gates will open on Saturday at Blundstone Arena from 12pm.
