Timing is everything in football and Robbie Nahas will be looking to make his comeback at the opportune moment. With just one week until North plays in an Elimination Final, the 26-year-old returns to football – 10 weeks after shoulder surgery.

The small forward will play with North Ballarat in its final against Werribee on Sunday and will be doing everything he can to convince North’s match committee he can be a factor in September.

Nahas injured his shoulder in Round 13 against Adelaide and has played eight games for the Roos in his first year at Arden Street.

Lachlan Hansen will face another week of testing on his hip while Joel Tippett will be hoping to overcome a calf strain and assist the Roosters against the Tigers at Port Melbourne.

Taylor Garner is preparing himself for a full-tilt at 2015, undergoing arthroscopic hip surgery this week. The 20-year-old has been hindered by hamstring and hip issues and had the plug pulled on his year in order to give him a full pre-season.
