While all eyes will be on Brent Harvey as he edges ever closer to Michael Tuck's long-standing games record, several other Kangaroos are set to celebrate milestones in 2016.

Harvey is just 17 games away from Tuck’s 426-game tally, and if all goes to plan could break that mark in round 19 against the Saints.

Of course, that ‘could’ refers to the chance of injury, suspension or even being rested.

Four of the Roos’ last five games are in Melbourne, so North fans will likely be able to celebrate the milestone with the little champion.

Another veteran could become just the fifth Kangaroo to break the 300-game barrier, with Drew Petrie needing just seven games to reach the milestone.

The 33-year-old could get to 300 as soon as round seven, with a clash against the Saints in Melbourne on the cards.

Achilles and thumb injuries have curtailed Andrew Swallow’s otherwise charmed injury run in recent years, but the skipper needs just 14 games to get to 200, a mark reached by just 26 Kangaroos.

Todd Goldstein looks likely to enjoy an early celebration in round one, needing just one game to break 150.

Lachlan Hansen could also reach the 150-game barrier in 2016, needing 19 games to get to the milestone.

He may have been somewhat of a late bloomer in AFL terms, but after making his debut as a 26-year-old in 2012, Sam Gibson hasn’t missed a beat since.

The now 29-year-old has played 85 consecutive games, the third-highest streak of any current player, and needs just 15 more for 100.

Jamie Macmillan is also eyeing the century, currently sitting on 81 games.

Capping off a huge year of milestones, Luke McDonald (37 games) and Ben Brown (33) both have the 50-game barrier in their reach.
