With the traditional format returning this weekend for the JLT Community Series, the North Melbourne players’ spirits were high as they hit the track on Wednesday.

Shaun Atley is first out of the blocks in a sprint.

With a clash against Melbourne in Hobart on Saturday, the players enjoyed a skills-heavy session, with some light-hearted and fun drills getting plenty of laughs.

Jarrad Waite and Robbie Tarrant share a 'Titanic' moment, with a ball instead of a boat.

Sam Wright was again involved with the main group, and is looking sharp despite his lack of footy in recent years.

Marley Williams has been another to impress since his return from injury.

The defender was smart in possession and regularly found his target playing out from the back.

Mitch Hibberd also looked tidy, and will be no doubt pushing for selection during the JLT series.

After impressing in AFLX, young forward Cameron Zurhaar will have his eye on some pre-season action.

Zurhaar stood out on the track, with the second-year rookie’s pressure particularly noticeable.

Ben McKay again trained in the backline, and is looking increasingly comfortable in his new role.

After sitting out on AFLX, skipper Jack Ziebell has trained the house down this week, and was again firing on all cylinders on Wednesday.

The Roos’ team will be named on Thursday, before the players head off for Community Camp, and the upcoming clash against Melbourne in Tasmania the following day.
