A meet and greet with players and tour of the Arden St facilities will be among the highlights of the Blue Roos’ annual Kick to Kick on Tuesday, March 20.

The night offers a chance for both existing and new members of the Blue Roos, North Melbourne’s LGBTIQ supporter group, to meet in a friendly and inclusive environment.

What began as a conversation in an Ascot Vale bar between three friends in 2013 has become a vibrant and growing group of passionate North Melbourne fans.

The group aims to mirror the successes and growth of groups such as the Pink Magpies, Purple Bombers and Saints Pride.

The Blue Roos promote an inclusive and homophobia-free AFL experience through social interaction, advocacy and by providing a safe space for LGBTIQ friends to watch North Melbourne games together during the season.

Kick to Kick with the Blue Roos is a free and open invite to any LGBTIQ supporters, and allies, to meet the group’s founders, have a kick with some of the North Melbourne team and to sign up as Blue Roos and North Melbourne Members – no football skills required!

After a few kicks between friends, North Melbourne will offer a tour of the club, including our award-winning community space, The Huddle, followed by refreshments on the balcony.
