North Melbourne will go into Saturday’s clash against the Giants with an unchanged lineup.

Brad Scott and the match committee have shown faith in the side which pushed reigning premiers Richmond all the way last week, as the Roos return to the fortress at Blundstone Arena.

As expected, Jarrad Waite has been named in the final 22, with Scott stating in his media conference the forward will be given until the last minute to prove his fitness.

Waite copped a knock to his hip in the final quarter of the loss to the Tigers.

"Just watching him this morning he's walking and jogging without a limp, so I think he'll be right,” Scott said.

Key-defender Ben McKay has been recognised for his strong form at VFL level, named as an emergency, while Cameron Zurhaar, Paul Ahern and Nathan Hrovat will also be waiting in the wings for an opportunity as senior level.

North will travel to Hobart on Friday afternoon, following a final training run at Arden Street.
