Adelaide's Daniel Talia will face a fitness test later in the week as he aims to overcome a leg injury.

The Crows' defender suffered the injury in the Showdown against Port Adelaide.

“On further investigation, we’ve discovered some bone bruising in the fibula so he’s been slow to get going and needs a fair bit to go right this week to get up for the weekend,” Crows’ General Manager High Performance Matt Hass told the club’s website.

Talia was the likely match-up for North forward Ben Brown in Sunday’s clash at Adelaide Oval, so his inclusion would be vital for the home side.

Meanwhile, forward Riley Knight (knee) and wingman Paul Seedsman (hamstring) are looking to push their case for selection, with the latter in particular a strong chance to return.

“Seedo’s been going great, it was fairly low grade to begin with so he’s done plenty of training,” Hass said.

“He will join the main session this week and if everything goes well there we expect him to be available.”
