North Melbourne’s draftees received their jumper numbers on day one at Arden St.

Tasmanian talent and Next Generation Academy player Tarryn Thomas will wear 26, a number worn by Sel Murray, Denis Pagan, Peter Bell, Sav Rocca and Alex Ishchenko. 

Father/son recruits Bailey Scott and Joel Crocker have number 30 and 36 respectively; the famous number 30 recently vacated by retired veteran Jarrad Waite. 

Before Waite, Daniel Pratt  played 116 games in No.30 and Frank Gumbleton 134 games between 1971-1979.

Famous in No.36 were the likes of Jose Romero, Stephen Icke and Shannon Watt.

Curtis Taylor has been handed number 31. Corey McKernan (182 games) and David Hale (98 games) made names for themselves with it on their backs.

Rookies Tom McKenzie and Thomas Wilkinson will wear numbers 39 and 41 respectively. 

Leigh Harding played 141 games in 39, while Adrian McAdam booted 92 goals from just 36 games in 41.
