A $300m plan to upgrade the Etihad Stadium precinct is edging closer to reality.
The redevelopment of North’s home stadium would include opening out to Harbour Esplanade, a waterfront entertainment zone, 1500-seat ballroom, community exercise spaces, grassed parkland and a running track around the ground.
The government is reportedly keen to expand and improve the nearby Southern Cross Station, with further platforms and better connectivity to Docklands according to News Corp.
