Adelaide is confident Riley Knight will be ready to make his return on Saturday against North Melbourne.

The midfielder missed the Crows’ clash against Richmond with a hamstring injury, but teammate Sam Jacobs says he’ll be right in the mix to make the trip to Hobart.

"As far as I know, he should be alright," Jacobs told the media on Monday.

"I'm not too sure about the extent of his injury, but Riley has spent a bit of time in rehab in the past and he's got a really good feel for his body.

"I think he made a smart decision against the Gold Coast to make sure he looked after it.

"Hopefully, he's back in calculations because he's a guy who can hopefully get a bit of continuity going because he's been fantastic in the team and he brings us a lot."

Knight has averaged over 17 disposals and a goal in five appearances this season.

The Crows won their first six games of the season to sit a game clear on top of the ladder.

"We've got a really hungry playing group at the moment," Jacobs said.

"We're really driven with where we want to get to. We are pretty mature in that sense in that we understand where the season is at.

"It's just another step to where we want to go and we're looking to improve every week."

North last played the Crows at Blundstone Arena in 2014, winning by five points on that occasion.
