North Melbourne continued their unbeaten run on Friday night with a tight win over the Bulldogs.

But from an AFL Fantasy perspective, the Kangaroos produced a very mixed performance.

It was a scrappy, high pressure game that caused a lot of usually clean players to fumble, causing some missed opportunities around the goals.

The stand-out for the game was Scott Thompson who top-scored for North with 115 points – his biggest score since Round 14, 2014.

The Bulldogs actually outscored North Melbourne from a fantasy perspective which just goes to show how close the game was.

Here is this week’s top five reviewed from the Round 6 preview.

1. Andrew Swallow ($432,000, MID)

Swallow was the best of the top five this weekend, scoring 107 points and laying a massive 14 tackles.

Swallow scored 56 points from tackles which is something you almost never see.

The issue for Swallow is scoring like this every week, but this 107 was a very good start.

2. Jarrad Waite ($523,000, FWD)

There is no stopping Waite this season it would seem. No matter who he plays against, he finds a way to put on an AFL Fantasy clinic.

He is averaging 108 points for the season and has to be treated as a genuine premium calibre forward.

He scored 93 points on the weekend, kicking another four goals and taking seven marks.

3. Jack Ziebell ($536,000, MID)

Despite spending a portion of the third quarter on the bench with a shoulder concern, Ziebell still managed to score a decent 87 points.

With 18 disposals, four marks and five tackles, Ziebell scored adequately, but you’d be hoping for a little more if you selected him in your midfield.

4. Brent Harvey ($465,000, MID/FWD)

Harvey had his worst fantasy game of the year, finishing with 68 points.

However, considering the year he’s had so far, you can give him that one game as an abe

5. Todd Goldstein ($553,000, RUC)

Goldstein had a very disappointing week fantasy wise, in a game where many thought he’d score very well.

Coming up against Jordan Roughead and Tom Campbell, Goldstein finished with only the 64 points.

Goldstein is one of the most selected players in AFL Fantasy and will need to bounce back next week against St Kilda.
