With just two matches left in the season, AFL Fantasy leagues around the country are drawing to a close.

North's match up against Sydney at Blundstone Arena is one where we’ll be hoping to see some big scores.

Let’s keep a close eye on Todd Goldstein this week – with Kurt Tippett being named to return, the North ruckman will have a tough battle on his hands.

However in Goldstein's other game at Blundstone Arena this season, he kicked five goals – so let’s hope lightning strikes twice.

At this point in the season the key thing we’re all after is big scores to get us over the line in fantasy finals. So while it’s always exciting to look at rookies developing, the big scorers are our focus this week.

Sam Gibson is North’s best fantasy player in recent weeks with an average of 93 points per game from his last five – despite a gym mishap, he’s been named to play this week.

Brent Harvey comes in second with an average of 88 from his last five, and Goldstein is in at number three.

Finishing up the top five is Nick Dal Santo and something of a surprise entry in Jamie Macmillan after his scores of 94, 118 and 101 in the past four weeks.

He could be a sneaky one to try and grab for sides looking for a finals edge – though his 58 last week was a worry.
