North Melbourne supporters and all football fans have another opportunity to be a part of Australian Film history next week.

Kangaroos’ supporter and film director Simon Wincer is calling for 100 fans to be extras in his latest project The Cup - a film about champion jockey Damien Oliver.

While details are yet to be finalised, filming will take place in the evening on Thursday 11th or Friday 12th and is likely to be at Visy Park in Carlton.

North fans are already part of several scenes that were shot in June with the stars of the movie Stephen Curry and Daniel McPherson.

As part of the film Wincer is recreating the last match Jason McCartney played against West Coast before his fateful trip to Bali.

If you want to be a part of the action, all you need to do is email the club at info@kangaroos.com.au and register your interest. Make sure you put “The Cup” in the subject box and tell us how many people you will be bringing.

All extras will have the chance to go behind the scenes in what promises to be a true Australian blockbuster.

All football fans and supporters are welcome. Details will be finalised as soon as possible and emailed to those who express their interest.

More than 100 actors, a crew of over 100 and 3000 extras will bring The Cup to life. Wincer has directed Phar Lap, The Light Horsemen, Free Willy, The Phantom, Lonesome Dove, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles and Into the West.
