Mazda Millionaire

Mazda Millionaire returned with North fans purchasing a ticket to go in the draw to win a Mazda3 and the opportunity to kick for $1M.

Fans of North and Mazda all over the country entered, and the winner drove away with a Mazda3 but fell short of claiming the cash during Mazda’s quarter-time, Round 21 match-day activation.

Powershop – Silent Room

Powershop gave a group of North’s biggest fans the chance to win $1,000, while enjoying the Round 17 match from the luxury of a fully catered corporate suite. The only catch; they had to remain completely silent – no cheering or clapping until 10 goals had been kicked.

It made for some great fun, some great lead generation for Powershop and a thrilling content piece.

Watch here to find out if they won the big bucks.

Anytime Fitness – High Performance Moments

Anytime Fitness became our first high-performance partner, and in addition to its logo featuring on staff apparel, it helped share some of the club’s high-performance efforts off the field. This included social media posts of players achieving extreme feats like Majak Daw jumping 3.24 metres and Mason Wood running 90m to score the winning goal against Sydney in Round 7. Anytime Fitness and North also used players to deliver a range of instructional videos to help gym-goers perfect their techniques.

Spirit of Tasmania – Spirited Trivia and Make Some Noise Cam

Spirit of Tasmania provided supporters some exciting new experiences in 2018. ‘Spirited Trivia’ tested North fans on their knowledge about the Spirit, Tasmania and North while fans brought down the house on match days with Spirit of Tasmania thunder sticks to get on the popular ‘Make Some Noise’ cam.

McDonalds – Kick for Cash

Macca’s Family Fun Zone at Blundstone Arena was a massive hit again in 2018, with hundreds of families stopping by. One lucky visitor from each game won the chance to kick for the Macca’s cup and the chance to take home $2,000.

North Network Business Community

The club’s business networking group, the North Network, grew significantly with record membership and attendances. With a renewed focus on business topics and outstanding talent the club delivered three sold out events with some fantastic themes. Our membership grew with more than 50 businesses represented from a variety of industries.

Our first event was held in May and was presented and hosted by Powershop with a focus on ‘Crisis Management in Business’. The mid-season event was held at Arden Street in late June, with club great Wayne Schwass sharing battles with mental health and gave some amazing insights on the topic of ‘Health & Wellbeing in the Workplace’. To cap off a highly successful year we delivered the ‘Women in Business’ event, presented by Shining Knight. In one of the more empowering networking events, we were entertained by the very best female industry leaders, including the head of women’s football at the AFL Nicole Livingstone, who spoke about development of women’s football.
